Employment

Government fosters employment and seeks to ensure everyone an opportunity to work. Working and employing are regulated by legislation and collective agreements, which address e.g. the practices relating to family benefits and leave, employment security, earnings and benefits for each sector of industry individually.

Organisations of companies and public economic and business expert organisations provide advisory, financing and training services relating to starting a business, corporate development and internationalisation. Enterprises may also take advantage of various EU-funded regional or structural development projects.
