Education
Everyone living in Finland is equally entitled to education and training. Compulsory education is usually given in comprehensive schools. The aim is to give everyone at least vocational qualifications or comparable training.
The Finnish education system comprises compulsory education, general upper secondary education, vocational education, and higher education. Further education for adults is available at all educational levels. International exchange programmes provide an excellent way to study abroad. Finland's extensive network of libraries in Finland offers a wide range of opportunities both to seek information and to enjoy literature.
